First, vacuum oil immersion
Put the cleaned sintered products into the vacuum box. Close the vacuum box to keep it sealed, then, starts the vacuum pumping device to make it in vacuum state. Then put the oil into the vacuum box through the special pipeline, and heat it to 80 degrees Celsius for 20 to 30 minutes. Because the air in the connecting pore of the product is extracted, the oil can be immersed in the product in ten minutes. This method is with high power and high speed of.
Second, soaking oil method
Heat the oil to 80 to 120 degrees Celsius, and then put the clean sintered products into the hot oil for an hour. The principle of soaking oil is that the product is heated by hot oil and the air in the pore is expanded, so part of the air is expelled. When the oil is cooled, the product cooled, too. The remaining air in the pore will be contracted, and the oil will be inhaled into the pore at the same time. Hot oil has better fluidity and smoothness than cold one, so a amount of oil enter the product. This method also has the characteristics of high oil immersion efficiency.
Third, ordinary oil immersion
Soak the clean sintered products in room temperature oil. Oil is immersed in the pore of the product under the capillary force effect. The method has the advantages of low power, long working time. It can be used in products with low oil content. The method saves cost and does not require professional oil immersion equipment and oil heating.
The above three commonly used oil immersion methods have their own characteristics in oil immersion rate and efficiency. MIM manufacturers should choose appropriate one according to the detailed requirements of oil content products.
