Feature:Many spare parts in a notebook can be made by MIM technology. These items are stainless steel. The surface treatment is spray powder. Compared with common surface treatment, spray powder has the following advantages:
1. Thicker coatings can be obtained by one coating, such as 100-300 micron coatings, which need to be coated about 4-6 times with ordinary solvent coatings. The corrosion resistance of the coating is very good.
2. Powder coatings are solvent-free and pollution-free, which improves the working hygiene conditions.
3. Powder electrostatic spraying has high efficiency and is suitable for automatic pipeline coating. Powder utilization rate is high and can be recycled.
4. In addition to thermosetting epoxy, polyester and acrylic acid, there are still a large number of thermoplastic resins which can be used as powder coatings, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, fluorinated polyether, nylon, polycarbonate and various fluorinated resins.
MIM technology can make various kinds of metal parts. If your part is made of stainless steel, steel, iron and the shape is complex, MIM is the best choice. If you want to make metal components by MIM, you need to send us the parts drawings, including PDF and 3D files in which, we can see the shape, sizes, tolerance and other requirements such as surface treatment, hardness(HRC). Also, we need to know the quantity for the part. Because to make MIM items, the mold is important. To make a mold is around 3000--5500USD that based on the shape, so if the customer have several parts to produce, we suggest to put them in one mold to save cost.
