Moulding is the most important process in MIM parts production. It decide all the quality. So our No2 Machinry Company are very focus on this.
We have own mould desingers.
The simplest MIM parts are produced by a cavity formed by two half-dies in a plane and sealed. Among them, one half-die is composed of the core with uniform clearance which is installed in the other half die. The uniform clearance is used to form parts with uniform wall thickness.
Core forming is the internal structural characteristics of parts, while cavity forming is the external structural characteristics of parts. All parts structural features must be able removed from the cavity and solidified from the core by the ejector.
When the complexity of MIM parts increases, we can add the sliders, cores and other tools commonly used in plastic injection moulding to form. While increasing the structural characteristics of parts, the complexity increases. At this time, the operating costs of tools and related equipment for subsequent processes can be reduced, so as to obtain economic benefits.
At every stage of design, benefits and costs must be carefully considered. The following key points must be taken into account in order to fully obtain all the benefits in this process: uniform wall thickness, thickness transition, coring hole, demoulding slope, reinforcing ribs and spokes, chamfering, threads, holes and grooves, undercutting, casting system, parting line, decorative features, sintering, etc.
Shandong NO2 Machinery factory will explain.
