Coring hole can reduce the cross section to the criterion limit, in order to achieve uniform wall thickness, reduce material consumption and cutting operations.
As shown in Figure, the preferred direction is parallel to the direction of the open die, in other words, perpendicular to the parting line. Because the core rod are at both ends, it is better to use through holes instead of blind holes, which use cantilever rods.
