The demoulding slope is a small angle on the surface, which should be parallel to the moving direction of the model parts. For the core rod, it should be very precise. The demoulding slope is for easy ejecting out the blanks. It is usually 0.5 to 2 degrees. The actual demoulding slope increases along with the depth of forming hole or recess and the complexity of parts. Figure below shows some cases where demoulding slope is required.
