Feature:This part is made of SUS440 which is widely used in hand tools. Why chose this material? 440C has the highest hardness in all stainless steel and heat resistant steel. Martensitic stainless steel has the same hardening characteristics as common alloy steel by quenching. Therefore, different mechanical properties can be obtained by choosing different brand and heat treatment conditions.
With high hardness and wear resistance, its disadvantage in grinding is that its stickiness is much and the temperature rises quickly. It is suggested to use chromium corundum for grinding. The annealing temperature of 440C is very low. The recommended hardness for heat treatment of cutting tools and bearings is HRC57-59. If cryogenic treatment is carried out, the hardness can reach HRC60. Corrosion resistance and toughness are very strong. Now they are more widely used in hand-made cutters and high-quality factory-made cutters.

To make a mold is around 3000--5500USD that based on the shape, so if the customer have several parts to produce, we suggest to put them in one mold to save cost.
